A vinyl fence can usually cost on average as much as DOUBLE BOTH materials and labor of a wood fence. We are NOT fans of vinyl fencing. We have seen countless vinyl fences that have chipped, cracked, or pickets have fallen off of. We have seen even more that have needed pressure washing more than FIVE TIMES a year because of mold.

DOES THIS LOOK MAITENANCE FREE TO YOU?

Many salesman will swear to you that vinyl is maintenance free, BUT that is so far from the truth. A vinyl fence sounds like a great idea, but the actual cost is multiple times the cost of a wood fence. A vinyl fence also will add EXACTLY $0 more than a wood fence to the value of your home as well.

Think twice or even three times before you fork out all of that extra money to buy one.

For those of you that are required to have one by your HOA, we feel your pain.

Lastly, most all of them cannot be built on a slope without being stepped.

This also can defeat the purpose of adding a fence to your yard.
